According to the marriage custom of Dong nationality, Dong's young lovers send keepsakes each other, to confirm their love relationship, send tea for engagement and finally declare overly their love if they are congenial. Then, the future bridegroom must get ready the polished glutinous rice cake, poprice, alcohol and dishes of meat and vegetables which are sent to his future bride's home by his uncle. In the feast, bridegroom's relative will introduce his character, personality to bride's parents and so do bride's relatives. Thereafter, both sides should keep their promise and not regret their marriage.
