Emperor Jade Pavilion

Emperor Jade Pavilion is seated at Jade Emperor Pavilion Avenue, Nankai District. Built in 1427, the second year of Emperor Xuanzong's reign in the Ming Dynasty, it is the largest Taoist temple in the urban area of Tianjin City.

The original building includes the memorial archway, temple gate, bell and drum towers, side halls, six-angle pavilion, main hall and Qingxu Pavilion. With and area of 234.86 square meters, the main architecture Qingxu Pavilion is the earliest lofty ancient wood-structure pavilion existing in the urban area. There is a bronze statue of Emperor Jade at the upper of the pavilion and a cloister by which you can overlook the beautiful scenery in the distance.

The Mesozoic and Antediluvian State Nature Reserve is located at Jixian County, Tianjin City.

The Mesozoic and Antediluvian State Nature Reserve is the first national geological nature reserve in China. Dating back to 800-1800 million years ago, the area is praised as a rare, valuable geological treasure. Therefore, it is a priceless natural and historical heritage in the world. With and area of 8.4 square kilometers, it is famous for its perfect conservation, clear top and bottom, and abundant fossils of ancient life.

Hopping Center & Shopping Street

There are such leading shopping centers in Tianjin as Binjiang Road Shopping Street, Heping Road Shopping Street, Xiaobailou Business Center, Tonglou Shopping Center, Dahutong Shopping Center, Drum-tower Shopping Street and so on. Located in the west of Haihe River, Benjiang Road Shopping and Heping Road Shopping Street are the most flourishing shopping centers in Tianjin. Not only are there some department stores with a long historical standing, such as Quan yechang Department Store, Hualian Department Store (original Zhongyuan Company) and Department Store, some old and famous brand stores, but also some new shopping centers and boutiques such as Binjiang Department Store, Jinhui Building, Milinio Department Store. In recent years, many national and foreign great shopkeepers have landed in Tianjin in succession. Such new sale types develop quickly as chain stores, boutiques, warehouse-style supermarkets, mail order stores, e-business and so on. Some international retail magnates open business one after another in Tianjin, such as Carrefour, Wal-Mart, Metro, OBI, Hymall, which forma some new business circles.

Golden Street

Golden Street was formerly called Heping Road, also Heping Trade. It is situated to the west side of Haihe River, with a total length of 2,138 meters. Intersected with Binjiang Road Trade Street, it forms the most prosperous trade district.

Along the street, there're shops providing services, general merchandise, foods & drinks, cultural education, recreation, which incorporate shopping, tour, eating and entertainment.

Hongqiao Martyrs' Cemetery

Originally called “Beixinzhuang Martyrs' Cemetery of Tianjin County”, Hongqiao Martyrs' Cemetery is located at No.5 Lingyuan Road, Xiqing Avenue, Hongqiao District. Constructed on March 15th, 1949, to commemorate generals and soldiers of the Chinese People's Liberation Army sacrificed in Tianjin Battle, it was rebuilt on October 1st, 1958.
