Ox-shaped Zun (Zhou Dynasty)

Ox-shaped Zun (Zhou Dynasty)

Unearthed in 1967 from Hejia Village, Qishan County, Shaanxi Province. This wine container was made in the shape of an ox, with a square hole on its back and a tiger-shaped lid. The tail of the ox is the handle. The exaggerated mould is very magnificent.
