Silver Pot with Design of A Horse Dancing and Hold (Tang Dynasty)

Unearthed in 1970 from hejia Village, Xi'an. This pot was made following the example of the leather canteen of the nomadic tribes. On the either side of it there is a horse design. The patterns confirm the historical account that emperor Taizong trained fine horses which could dance accompanied by music. This artifact is a national treasure.
