Big Barbette

Located at the side of Dasanba Memorial Archway in the central part of the Macao Peninsula, it was an important military place in the early days of Macao and formed a defense wall with Songshan Barbette and Mage Barbette. You will find historical relics and architectures such as the huge steel cannon, ancient pagoda, single-storey house, ancient bell, and stone carvings around the emplacement. Furthermore, there is Macao Museum and Big Barbette History Museum at the barbette.
