Chunyang Hall

The Chunyang hall was a Taoist Monastery dedicated to Lu Dongbin, one of the eight gods in Taoism. Today, it is a Buddhism temple. Its first hall is named Medicine Hall with a seated Medicine Buddha statue 1.2 meters in height. Around the statue are the Sunlight Buddha and the Moonlight Buddha. The second hall is the Great Hero Hall dedicated to the Sakyamuni with Ananda and Kasyapa on his sides. All these are replicas since the original bronze statues were unfortunately destroyed. Opposite to Sakyamuni are God of Universal Benevolence, Guardian of Earth, God of Wisdom and a Goddess of Mercy.
