The Jieyin Hall was the Jieyin nunnery during the Ming Dynasty. It has been enlarged being reconstructed several times and today is a full-scaled temple. The Jieyin Hall in the temple is dedicated to Sakyamuni with Ananda and Kasyapa on his sides. At the flank of the hall, there are cable cars to the golden summit. The cable cars, constructed in 1998, are both comfortable and modern, reaching the second highest peak of the mountain with the longest and steepest grade. |
