Leidong Terrace

The Leidong Terrace was originally built in the Han Dynasty and had the name Thor Hall. In 1992, the Buddhist association of Mountain Emei reconstructed it. The temple hall is dedicated to the statue of the Laughing Buddha, which is of primitive simplicity yet solemn. To the right of the temple, there is a tablet with the characters Leidong Pavilion. Visitors here can enjoy one of the famous scenes of Emei “the Mist and clouds of Leidong”.
