The Floating Village is located in the middle of the Baohe River. It is surrounded by water on four sides. It looks as if floating on the water, and hence named “Floating Village.” It used to be “the Bao Gong Academy”, and now it is the best-preserved architectural complex in Hefei featuring the style of the gardens in Huizhou. It covers an area of more than 1.33 hectares. Inside the manor, there are many terraces, waterside pavilions, artificial hills, shady trees and waterfalls. Here, the birds sing and flowers give forth their fragrance.
