Foremost person in the field

Outside Guangde east city, there was an expert who was good at transplanting rice seedlings. People called him “rice shooting foremost person in the field”. The new state official did not believe that and rode a horse personally to the seedling field to take a test. Finally the ability of transplanting rice seedlings of the rice shooting foremost person in the field really lived up to reputation, the state official subdued for it. The official reported to the emperor and asked for permission. Unfortunately, the emperor rejected. Therefore, countrymen collected money and set up the memorial bed stone in the field by their own. Though there were no characters on the stone, countrymen called it “Zhuangyuan stone”.
