At the lower reaches of the Baiyangdian Lake, the Qianlidi Section of the Baiyangdian Lake is located in Renqiu, northwest to Cangzhou City. It is also 130 kilometers south of Beijing and 120 kilometers southwest of Tianjin. With an area of 64.8 square kilometers, it is varyingly beautiful in different seasons-one can see birds flying and fish swimming in spring, lotus blooming in summer, reeds weaving in autumn, and ice covering the lake surface in winter. Here are examples of the kinds of scenery you can see at the lake: lines of willows along the bank, date woods at sunset, lotus perfume spreading over the lake, moonlight over the lake, peach blos soms in the moonlight, and beautiful sunset. Also, both the Maozhou Temple and the Bian Que Memorial Temple are nearby. |
