The Grassland on Mountain Top is located in the south of Yuxian County, 220 kilometers away from Zhangjiakou City.

It covers an area of 32 square kilometers,2,158 meters above sea level. It is wide from north to south, long and narrow from west to east. In the north there is a vast expanse of level grassland stretching to the horizon. In the north there is a primeval forest covering an area of more than 8,000 mu. The deciduous forest is the haunt of pheasants, hares, roe deer, foxes, sheep, etc.
