The Square

Nanjiecun Town invested RMB 1,000,000 to build the square of nearly 10,000 square meters in the center of the town. The white marble statue of Mao Zedong and the huge portraits of other revolutionary leaders all over the world stand upright in the square with 40 red flags fluttering in the wind. There are guards on duty in front of the statue of Chairman Mao, enabling the site a good place to spread the education of socialism and communism.
