Seven Star Pond

As the key tourism development section at the south foot of Mountain Baotianman, it has become a hot tourist route. Along the 10km long valley, there are standing imposing peaks and steep cliffs. The clear water flows over the granite river bed and fancy stones on the bed have added to more fun. Into the attraction, there is a 2km long section which is reputed for the countless hanging stones. Stacks of stones have shaped many peaks which give people a false impression that they were built, but actually it is a work of nature. Seven Star Pond, the main part of the attraction, features steep terrains and overlapping waterfalls. The granite body of the mountain is divided into seven levels and the Qitan River runs down them to make a waterfall screen. The pond, shaped as a result of water erosion, is deep, pure and clear. Besides, the Tianjing Waterfall, not far from the pond, runs down with a height of over 80m and makes an imposing view.
