Tianxin Cave lies in the middle of Duguduo Peak, the southern extension of Mountain Baotianman. Right in the centre of steep cliffs, the cave leads down to the heart of the mountain and hence its name is derived.
A shaft-like stalactite cave, the outlet is narrow and it is spacious inside. Over 20m down, there are two connected spaces with a total area of around 800m2 and the heights of walls range from 10m to 30m. The colored decoration patterns, one wonder of the nature, are a unique part of the cave. The stalactites in the cave are in different shapes and sizes, giving endless associations to household stories in Chinese mythology such as the Children-Sending Guan Yin, Seven Fairies, and Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea and so on. Many branches and side caves could be found here. Owing to its size and tourism values, the place has been developed into an attractive sight at the south foot of Mountain Baotianman. |
