Jade Pendant

Jade pendant was a kind of decorative jade at that time A proverb says. “Ancient gentlemen were sure to wear jades”, so wearing jade wares had been a custom of the society then and a symbol status and position. These ornamental jades unearthed from the tombs of the Guo State are divided into several kinds : ornaments of hair, ear, wrist, and jade pendant, including a lot of jade bi, huang for wearing, and jade carving of birds, animals and figurines as well. Sets of jade pendants were also discovered here. It reflects the aesthetic conceptions of the Guo's people.
