Ritual Jade

Ritual Jade

The ritual jade wares unearthed in the burial ground of Guo Vassal State were ritual articles used by nobles of the Guo Vassal State in offering sacrifices to gods (or ancestors), meetings of sovereigns punitive expedition, wedding and funeral etc.. A lot of ritual jade wares had lost the function of utilitarians and been a symbol of wealth and privilege.
