Liang Xiaowang Mausoleum is located at the south peak of Mountain Baoan, facing east, with whole length of about 90m and breadth of about 30m.
The main chamber, with 4-meter inside height, is composed of tomb passage, carriage and horse chamber, corridor, main room, winding corridor, drainage facility and so on. The inside area of the tomb is 700m2, and its containment is 2,000m3. This mausoleum has larger size and complicated structure, which fully embodies the ability and wisdom of China's ancient laboring people.
Liang Xiaowang, named Liu Wu, was the grandson of Han Gaozu (Emperor Gao of Western Han Dynasty) Liu Bang, the son of Han Wendi (Emperor Wen of Western Han Dynasty) Liu Heng, the younger brother of Han Jingdi (Emperor Jing of Western Han Dynasty) Liu Qi, and the uncle of Han Wudi (Emperor Wu of Western Han Dynasty) Liu Che. |
