Beihai Silvery Beach

Beihai Silvery Beach is situated at the southern coast of Beihai City, 8 kilometers away from the urban area. Covered by top-grade quartz sand, the white, fine beach will reflect silvery light in the sunshine, so it is named Silvery Beach.

Beihai Silvery Beach is typical of “long and smooth beach, white and fine sand, lukewarm and clean water, mild and gentle waves”, and is acclaimed as “the first beach in China”. In addition, it is a natural seaside bathing area, reputed as “Beidai River in South China”. It's known as National Holiday Resort and selected as The Key Scenic Spot of China in 1992.
