Yangmei Ancient Town

Initially built in the Song Dynasty, the Yangmei Ancient Town was a key commodity-distributing center in the neighborhood of around 100 kilometers and was the base for revolutionary activities held by Huangxing and Liang Lieya, leaders of the 1911 Revolution. Now there are more than 5,300 people living in this 65,000-square-meter-large town. Some quite well-preserved sites are the Qing Dynasty Street, houses built in the Ming Dynasty, Kuixing building , Huang Clan Manor and the main sights include “Sunset-bathed Dragon Pool”, “Moon-lit Night in Golden Beach”, “Buildings in Xialeng Street”.
