Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Museum was initially built in 1934 and rebuilt in 1956. In 1958, it was given the current name. In 1978, the display building was completed on the eastern side of Minzu Square, Nanning, and then in 1988, Guangxi Minorities Cultural Relics Center was opened. The museum covers an area of more than 40,000 square meters and is a provincial museum, offering insights into the general history of the various ethnic groups in Guangxi. |
