Chishui Scenic Area

Located in Chishui City, Chishui Scenic Area has beautiful scenes and is reputed as “a city with 1,000 waterfalls”, with the waterfalls, bamboo sea and Danxia landform, etc as its main body.

The vast virgin forest in the area is well-preserved, and has many rare trees and animals, such as spindle tree firn, macaques, and Sudou antelope. The area is also famous for its Danxia landform, whose Danxia cliff is vermeil and bright, and very splendid. The main attractions include Shizhang Cave Waterfall, Hushi Statue on the Cliff, Ancient Guandu Petroglyph, etc.
