Shexiang Tomb (Shexiang Mu) is located on the north of Dafang County, 160 kilometers northwest of Guiyang. It was the tomb of She Xiang, the female ruler of Yi nationality in China more than 300 years ago.
It was encircled with stones all around. There are 9 dragons engraved on the grave skirt and with the Yi nationality pattern design. Two platforms were built according to the terrain in front of the tomb.
The area looks seemingly surrounded by antiquity horse head shape wall on all four sides; the pond was constructed in the center, the pavilion, the bridge and the flower lawn. It is equipped with the Yi nationality history culture exhibition hall in the building. |
