Xifeng Former Prison

Xifeng Former Prison (Xifeng Jizhongying) was the biggest scale and highest rank secret jail set up by Kuomintang Military Affairs Committee during the time of 1945-1949. It was composed by Xifeng Yanglangba cadre and Xuantian cave imprisoning place.

It was referred to as the university in the Military Affairs Committee whereas Chongqing Baigongguan jail was referred as “the middle school” and Wanglongmen jail was referred as “the elementary school”.

The surrounding area of 300 meters is full of overgrowing bushes and green trees. The entire place was covered and even if the airplane circles in the sky, it is difficult to discover any trail. It personally makes one feel the gloominess, terror and chilly weather when stationed here.

Admission fee: RMB ¥ 8 per person
