Aurora at Mohe

Mohe is the northernmost town in China. It has been known as “North Pole Town in China” because of its remoteness and freezing coldness. It is located at high norht altitude, so there are two wonderful views white night and aurora borealis. Each year, during the half month period before and after summer solstice, dark nights turn into white nights because of the sun hanging above in the sky. On the contrary, winter often sees a ring of light in the evening sky with changing colors aurora borealis which becomes bigger and bigger day by day.
