China Green Food Expo in Qiqihar

China Green Food Expo in Qiqihar, is a nationwide grand fair showing development achievements of green food and promoting communication and cooperation of green food industry. It began in 2001 and is held on August 28 each year. It is sponsored jointly by the National Ministry of Agriculture and Heilongjiang Provincial Government, and undertaken by China Green Food Development Centre and Qiqihar Municipal Government.

The Green Food Expo takes Green, Health, Cooperation and Hope as its theme and Advocating Green Conception, Leading Green Consumption, Exploring Green Market and Promoting Green Revolution as its tenet. During the expo, besides large opening ceremony and literature and art performances, there are also colorful activities such as show and business of green food and its means of production, and popularization of scientific and technical achievements, introducing investment, economy and trade negotiation, and lectures on green food knowledge, economical development strategy forum, and ecological tourism and sightseeing etc. Several hundred famous green food enterprises from home and abroad, which are engaged in production, distribution and investment, attend the expo and purchase and sale. The items and quantity striking a bargain and the amount of introducing funds increase year by year. The achievements, which are very remarkable, have shown fully China Green Food City, and that Qiqihar and even the whole country in green food production and development have obtained brilliant achievements, and that green food development potential and advanced production technology have brought the profound influence and great promotion on green food industry development.
