Introduction of Jingzhou City

Otherwise known as Jiangling, located in the middle and south of Hubei Province, on the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, in the central part of Jianghan Plain, Jingzhou City covers an area of 14,100 square kilometers, with a population of 6.3 million. It is a national-level historical and cultural city, and is honored as Excellent Tourism City and Sanitary City.

Jingzhou has a convenient transportation. The Port of Shashi is an important port on the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. Jingzhou Yangtze River Highway Bridge is a cable-stayed bridge ranking the second in the world. The 207 National Highway runs through the city from south to north, and the 318 National Highway and Yihuang Expressway from east to west. Jingzhou has a solid agricultural foundation. The total output of grain, cotton, oil-bearing seeds and the aquatic products ranks the first in Hubei Province. There are seven listed companies such as Sanonda in this city.
