Former Residence of Shen Congwen

No.10 Zhongying Street in the town of Fenghuang County is the former residence of Shen Congwen. The house is a typical Siheyuan, a compound with houses around a square courtyard. It was first constructed in 1866 during the rule of Tongzhi Emperor of Qing Dynasty. Pictures and calligraphy of Shen Congwen are displayed in his former residence.
