Traditional Miao Building above Tuo River

The Miao traditional building complex locates in the southeast of Fenghuang County. One side of the complex connects ancient government built path and another part is right above the Tuo River.

The entire complex is 240m long. It was built during the period from the end of Qing Dynasty and beginning of the Republic of China. It has strong characteristics of Miao nationality. It is a wood structure building complex and was built in accordance with the terrain. Complex techniques were used in construction. Wood structures were finely carved.
