The Site of Provincial Soviet Government in Changting is located at Chengguan of Changting County and oriented south and north. On March 18 of the 21st year of the Republic (1932), First Congress of Workers, Peasants and Soldiers of Fujian Province was held here, and Fujian Soviet Government was established. After the meeting, the government office of the Provincial Soviet settled down here. In 1988, it was among the third batch of selected national cultural relic protection units publicized by the State Council, and it has now turned to be “Changting Museum of Revolutionary History”.

70 kilometers to the county seat of Shanghang, Mountain Plum National Nature Reserve is situated at the southern brim of central subtropical zone.

The climate here is characterized by the gradual transition from central subtropical zone to southern subtropical zone. And it mainly protects the forest ecosystem and rare animals. Gathered in the nature reserve are 11 kinds of vegetation forms, 63 formations of plant with nearly 2,000 species of vascular plants alone, over 100 species of beasts, over 300 species of birds, 30-odd species of amphibians, 60-odd species of reptiles (including 58 species of snakes), 36 species of mountain stream fishes, and nearly a hundred species of animal planktons.

In 1992，Mountain Plum National Nature Reserve was named at the Seminar of Chinese Nature Conservation Priorities as “An AAAA-level conservation area with world-wide influence and international significance” for its being a zone with largest number and most frequent activity of South Chinese tigers. Scenic spots of Mountain Plum include Chinese Tiger Park, Ecological Park of Yews, “Fresh Water Stream” & “Troubled Water Stream”, Eggs Laying Valley etc.

Located in Xinluo District of Longyan City, Longyan National Forest Park is 60 kilometers long, 45 kilometers wide and covers a total area of 7,783.6 hectares. It is rich in biotic resources including 7 kinds of vegetation, 10 formation classes, 90 formations, 174 ecological associations, terricolous vertebrates in 27 orders, 73 families and 326 species. Furthermore，there are 14 fish families, 68 species, and 2,000 kinds of invertebrates.

Gospel Hospital was originally a British mission hospital. After Nanchang Uprising (August lst, 1927)，director of Gospel Hospital Fu Lianzhang treated over the sick and wounded of the army of Nanchang Uprising and the Red Army. Mao Zedong, Chen Geng, Xu Teli, Zhou Yisu, Wu Xiuquan, He Zizhen etc had been treated and recuperated in the sanatorium of Gospel Hospital. In 1988, it was among the publicized third batch selected national cultural relic protection units.

As an AAAA-level national scenic zone, Longkong Cave is located in Longkang Village, Yanshi Town, Xinluo District, Longyan City and 48 kilometers to Downtown Longyan. It belongs to karst landform and a mountain forest scenic zone with primeval karst caves.

The scenic zone covers an area of 10 square kilometers with Longkong Cave at its core. And it is one of the outsize karst caves already discovered in China. There are 8 halls, 16 sub-caves, a 2000-meter-odd-long tourist route, an area of 54 thousand square meters divided into upper, middle and floor layers in the wide open cave that is characterized by art gallery of abstract pictures of lime rock beddings.
