Songxi County is an excellent base for artificial cultivation of ganoderma. Songxi County has a more than 20 years history of artificial cultivation of edible fungus on a large scale. In 1994, Songxi County was awarded the title of “a City of Ganoderma with Wood Log”. In 2003, it was granted the title of “Top County of Edible Fungus Production”. Ganoderma can be made into Ganoderma tea, Ganoderma wine, Ganoderma drinks and so on and sold to Hong Kong, Japan and other regions and countries.

Songxi graphic art is a group of graphic art works based on the life in the northern part of Fujian and in the geographical background of northern Fujian. Songxi County is named by the Ministry of Culture as “the home to Chinese graphic art”. In recent years, two pieces of Songxi graphic art works have been selected to be displayed on the 15th National Graphic Art Works Exhibition; one piece of works was selected to attend the 9th National Fine Arts Exhibition; five pieces of works have been well received at the second and third national farmers' painting exhibition; three pieces of works have been selected by the Third Painting Arts Festival of Fujian Province and nearly 200 pieces of works have been published on Fine Arts in China, Chinese Culture Newspaper, Fujian Daily Newspaper, Fujian Painting Newspaper, Minbei Daily Newspaper and other newspapers and magazines.

Songxi Zhanlu Sword was founded in the Spring & Autumn Period, 2,600 years ago. It is called the First Sword on the earth, ranking the first among five swords in ancient China (Zhanlu, Juque, Shengye, Yuchang and Chungou). In 1984, after many years of research, Zhanlu Sword Factory grasped the unique skill of fire quenching enjoyed only by ancient people, and successful founded Zhanlu Sword which has been lost for a thousand years. The Zhanlu Sword is reputed for its sharpness and delicateness. Featuring straight sword back and big bend, it is the best sword to be used by sword play athletes during sword play training and competitions.

Antique black-glazed Jian bowl is the antique reproduction of black-glazed Jian bowl produced in Jian Kilin in Jianyang in the Southern Song Dynasty. Jian bowl is small in size, with thick body and purplish-brown color, which are with distinct features. The bowl with rabbit's hair design (one type of black-glazed Jian bowl) with the name of “black rose” is reputed as a porcelain treasure. To date, it occupies an important position in the porcelain history in China and overseas countries. It has been once lost to the world for over 600 years.

Long-nosed Pit Viper is also called Little Multibanded Krait or five-pace viper. Its poison is only next to Cobras. It has a temperate nature, sweet and salty. It can improve collateral circulation, expel wind, resist convulsion and combat poison. Long-nosed pit viper wine is a kind of medicated wine made with Little Multibanded Krait living in Jichun, which is used to cure palsy of one side of the body, numb of arms and legs, convulsion, joint pain, tetanus, rheumatic arthritis, polio, leprosy and other kinds of diseases.

In 1987, Lng-nosed pit viper wine was listed as a Project of Quality Upgraded Product in Fujian Province. In 1998, it received Famous, Excellent, Special and New Products Wuyi Prize in Fujian Province and silver prize at the First China Food Exposition. It is sold to Hong Kong, Macao, Taiwan, Southeast Asia and other countries and regions.
