Tulugou State Forest Park is situated at the hinterland of Liancheng forest area, Yongdeng County, about 160 kilometers from Lanzhou City, and is the eastern branch of Qilian Range, with its elevation ranging from 1998 to 3165 meters above sea level.
The entire park can be divided into four major scenic zones, namely Front Tulugou Forest Scenic Zone, Small Tulugou Forest Scenic Zone, Sancha Tourist Village and Tulugou Pasture Pleasure Place, including 47 scenic spots large or small all together. The main scenic spots here are Mountain Hump, Skylight Hole, Hidden Dragon Cave, Buddha Rock, Heaven Pass Gate, Kingkong Peak, Qixi Bridge, Light Pole Rock, Exercise Platform, Black Toad Platform, Water Drop Effusing Cliff, etc. With various and peculiar shapes, all the scenes of the park enjoy the reputation of “being as secluded as Qingcheng, as graceful as Mountain Emei, as perilous as Mountain Huashan, and as queer as Jiuzhai”.
