The Conghua Museum is an integrated museum with distinctive local features, and a local museum collecting and showcasing Conghua's local historic artifacts and hosting public cultural and artistic events and exchange programs. It's one of the major venues for public cultural and artistic activities in Conghua.

The museum was built in 1987 and opened to the public on September 28, 1999. It consists of seven exhibition halls of varying sizes. Major exhibitions include the Conghua Artifacts Exhibition, Conghua Revolutionary History Exhibition, and Conghua Agalmatolites Exhibition, as well as unscheduled exhibitions of public collections and calligraphic, painting and photographic works.

The Chen Shuren Memorial Hall is located at No.10, Shuqian Road, next to the office building of the Dongshan District People's Government. The hall is a memorial building constructed on the site of the former residence “Heaven Tree Garden” of Mr. Chen Shuren, one of the founders of the Lingnan school of painting. The residence was destroyed in the War of Resistance against Japan. Opened on November 26, 1988, the hall is an arch building with inlaid white marble and provides exhibitions on two floors: the first floor is the Lingnan Gallery, where exhibitions of artistic works are presented from time to time, and the second floor displays calligraphic and painting works by Chen Shuren, as well as historic documents on him. Also standing on the site is the  “Sifu” Building, honoring Chen Fu, son of Chen Shuren and a revolutionary martyr.

The resplendent and magnificent building beside Zhongtian Plaza is famous China Mayor's Plaza. Just as its name implies, China Mayor's Plaza is a training center, conference center, information center and fellowship activity center for the mayors in the whole country. This is a generous gift presented by Guangzhou Municipal Government to more than 5,000 mayors in more than 600 cities in the whole country. The plaza was opened in February, 1997. It is a multifunctional complex building fitted up according to five-star level standard and it is the seat of China Mayor Association. The plaza is twenty-eighty storeys high and the building area is 23,000 square meters. The lower fourteen stories are used as hotel and the upper fourteen stories are used as the conference center, training center and offices.

The architectural style of the plaza is unique and it can be called as the elaborate works of architectural art. The external wall at four sides adopts up-to-date golden glass curtain wall. In the sunshine in four seasons in the south, it is golden and emits extraordinary splendor. There is a semicircular square before the gate and more than thirty round columns form the hallway to raise the half-arc cope. It is analogous to the style of Roman architecture and the momentum of the plaza is extraordinary. The whole plaza harmonizes with Guangzhou Metropolis Plaza and New Tianhe Town to form a unique sight.

The geographic location of China Mayor's Plaza is very advantageous. To the east, there is the cloud-kissing highest building in Guangzhou CITIC Plaza; to the south, there are Tianhe Sports Center, Tianhe Town Plaza and New Zhujiang City; to the west, there is wide Times Plaza; to the north, there is Guangzhou East Railway Station and the largest East Railway Station greening plaza in the whole city. The floor area of the greening plaza is about 70,000 square meters and it looks like a huge green carpet and adds vigorous vitality to this new city zone.

Built at the end of the Qing Dynasty, the Baomo Garden is situated in Zini village near Shawan town and it's a fine example of Lingnan architecture. Once inside, you'll find buildings, gardens, hills, lakes and bridges - a place where manmade art sits among nature's art in the form of sculptures and edifices which boast intricate clay, porcelain, brick, wood and stone carving. Don't miss the beautifully displayed rose or orchid garden. But these are not the only things on which to feast your eyes, as Baomo also has a restaurant within it. Here you can sample delicious Shawan ginger milk custard along with a number of other local dishes.

Catholic Church is located at Yido Donglu and was built in 1888, it is the largest and most intact Gothic Cathe dral of stone structure, so it is also called Stone House.
