Wuzhizhou Island is located 2.7 kilometers from Houhai village, Lingwang town, and 30 kilometers from Sanya city. In the ancient time, it was called “Guqizhou”. It is a tropical island with some excellent scuba diving available around the spectacular coral reefs. This place is known locally as a microcosm for all that is gorgeous about Hainan Island: white beaches, palm trees, sunshine and wonderful sea life including sea urchin, starfish and sea horse. This spot is generally acknowledged as the best place for scuba diving on the entire island. Facilities on the island include the Wuzhizhou Island Holiday Resort.

Nanshan Culture Tourism Zone is the largest Buddhism center after the birth of P.R.C. in China. It covers an area of 400mu, located just 40 km west of Sanya along the Hainan West-line Expressway and 20 km west of “the End of the Earth”. The architecture of the entire temple complex was tastefully adapted to pre-Tang style. Nanshan, the mountain on the south, is also believed to be the auspicious mountain of longevity in Chinese mythology. In fact, it is composed of four separate theme parks. Nanshan Buddhism Culture Park is a window on China's traditional Buddhism culture; the Felicity and Longevity Culture Park shines its light on an atmosphere of peace and harmony; the Nanhai Culture Customs Park highlights China's diverse social customs; and the Buddha Lustration Center includes the 108-metre-tall bronze statue of Buddha on the sea. Key features of the zone include the three-sided statue of sea Buddha, Buddhist temples, treasures Buddha, splendid landscaping and sea views.

Luhuitou Peninsula is located 5 km north of Sanya, perched on the edge of the South China Sea. The park features a 12-meter tall statue. The name for this popular spot translates as “a deer turning its head”, due to the legend that accompanies the district. In the legend, a brave Li hunter tracked a deer to the cliff's edge, whereupon the deer turned its head and then turned into a beautiful girl who became the hunter's bride. Standing on the top of the hill could overlook the whole Sanya city, and also at the foot of the hill, there are many accommodation, shopping and dining facilities.

Dadonghai Tourism District situated about 3 km from the center of Sanya City and just off the main road. Dadonghai is one of Sanya's cleanest beaches. The name, which means Great East Sea, like most of the beaches around Sanya, this is a truly tropical beach with 3 km of white sand curving round a crescent shaped bay, warm blue seas and palm trees. It's spring in Dadonghai all the year round, and is an ideal place for winter swimming, hibernation, vacation, sea-bathing and sun bath. So it has been rated as one of China's top 40 tourist attractions by the National Tourism Bureau and remains a “must-see” destination for all. Facilities here are good too. Water sports are popular and there are so many small restaurants and bars serving up tasty snacks and drinks.

Boundary Islet, also named Sleeping Beauty Islet. Overlooking the islet in the distance, it just like a sleeping beauty lies on the offing. When you ascend the islet, an open-style building is at sight, just like a hotel's lobby. It's the explanation hall, which shows so many pictures and the distribution map of sight spot. Enthusiastic commentators will offer you a patient and detailed explanation. Boundary Islet is composed of two islets. Longevity Turtle Bay is the bathing place; Felicity Turtle Bay connects to the Big Cave, different scenery. Another landscape is that a special path on the island for it is full of money in various kinds, Chinese and foreign, ancient and modern. It is said that tourists who go across this path will have a good luck in earning money. If you follow the coin path to the mountaintop park, you could overlook the South China Sea, where the crystal clear sea water will let you feel an electrifying beauty. It also offers a great variety of water sports including scuba diving, sightseeing boat, luxury motor yacht, banana boat, sailing boat etc.
