Yan Temple

Yan Temple is the temple of Yan Hui, also called Fusheng Temple, was built to memorize Yan Hui, one of Confucius' disciples. People started to build temples on the former residence of Yan Hui from the period under the reign of Liu Bang in the Western Han Dynasty. Later, with renovations and expansions time and again during the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasty, it has reached an area as large as five courtyards. The whole temple looks stately and splendid with red walls around and towering cypresses. The main scenic sites are: the Archway of Fusheng Temple; Slum Well; and Fusheng Palace.

The Moseleum of Shaohao

Shouqiu is the birthplace of the Yellow Emperor. To the south of Shouqiu is the ruins of Jingling Palace. Shaohao is one of the first emperor of five emperors in ancient China, the tomb is also known as “the Oriental Pyramid”.

The Temple of the Duke of Zhou is the place of where the first sage Duke Zhou was worshiped. It is the Key of Provincial Protected Historical Relics Unit now.

Shimen Hill

The Tang Dynasty greatest poes Li Bai and Du Fu visited the mountain together, leaving to posterity many enchanting poems. The famous dramastist Kong Shangren who was the decedent of Confucius, the place where he wrote “Peach Flower Fan” in the Qing Dynasty. It is the National Forest Park now.
