Seashore Scenic Area of Jiaodong Peninsula is located in the northeast of Jiaodong Peninsula.
    The scenic area integrates natural scenery and architectures, includes Yantai City, Penglai City, Chengshantou at Weihai, Changshan Island and Heishan Island. There are zigzag sea gulfs, grotesque promontories, and abundant natural and cultural heritages in the area. Changdao Island has been reputed as “Fairy Island in the Sea” with its three marvellous spectacles, namely “Haishi”(Sea Mirage), “Haizi”, and “advection fog”. Liugong Island at Weihai is a famous strategic location in the sea in China, and has been reputed as “a shield of eastern corner”. Chengshantou at Weihai is the “Ends of the Earth” of East China.
