Lingqu Trench

    Located in the 66 kilometers to the northeast of Guilin, Xing'an county, Lingqu Trench is built during the Qin Shihuang in power with 34km long total. It is one of the oldest canal in the world, which connected Xiang River with Lijiang River, the Yangste River system and the Pearl River system. Lingqu Canal scenic spots include Water-dividing Pond, Huazuo, Two Level Diversion Dams, North and South Canals, Three- general Tomb, Qin Dynastic Bank, Flying Stone and Four-sage Temple, etc. The whole scenery area is simple and unsophisticated, quiet and elegant, which make you have an amorous feelings of South Mountain.
