Introduction of Guangdong Province

Guangdong Province is located in the south of China, and was under the jurisdiction of Nanyue in ancient times, hence its name “Yue” for short.

Guangdong Province is a famous hometown of many overseas Chinese, adjointing Hong Kong and Macao. It first established Special Economic Zones in Shenzhen, Zhuhai and Shantou. Guangzhou, Chaozhou, Zhaoqing, Foshan, Meizhou and Leizhou have been listed as famous historical and cultural cities in China.
