In the 30th year of the reign of the Emperor Qianlong in the Qing Dynasty, he made an inspection tour to South China and visited the Lion Forest Garden. He was so delighted at the wonderful man-made mountains with verdurous trees, winding pathways, a cystalline lake and zigzay bridges that he wrote “Ture Delight”, Now the Ture Delight Pavilion in the garden has a table of the Emperor's inscription hanging from above. |
