Huashan Mysterious Grottos

As a national key scenic spot in jianjiang Scenic area, Huashan Mysterious Grottors lie in the east of Tunxi, Huangshan city, and covers an area of more than 80-square-kilometer.

There are 36 ancient man-made grottos have been discovered until now, which are grand in scale, exquisite in design and unique in style. It is rare to find such caves in the world, so the grottos group can be called “one of the wonders in China”.

The couplet says:“There are flowers on Mountain huashan: all the flowers are natural and each flower is mysterious. all the grottos are though but hidden, each grottos is mysterious and unthoughtful.”

Mountain Huashan boasts both its natural scenes and places of cultural interest, like the green mountain, pretty river, serene countryside, sandbank, polished cliff, grottos carving, temple and memorial archway. Three mysteries about Huashan grottos add a mysterious atmosphere and attract many tourists to come here.
