Roc listening to sutra

    It is commnonly known as “Eagle scratching the rock”. On the east of Tiantai, behind Baijing Tai, a massive rock, about 30 meters high, sticked to the cliff, it is shaped in a huge roc, the mouth and wings can be easilky traced. Legend has hold that monk Dizang always reading sutra here, the roc came to listen and was gradually moved to stone. Baijing Tai was contructed during the Qing Dynasty, in which there is a rectangular stone with dented footprint on it, it is said that it was monk Dizang's, formed by long time worship on bounded knees.
