Huancui Valley

Located in the Miaozi Village Area at the southwest of the Xingyang City, the Huancui Valley is a natural mountainous scenic spot covering about 30 square kilometers characterized by ancient castles complex. Huancui Yu is a crescent-shaped close valley embraced by emerald hills and peaks over peaks. In the valley stands the inscription written by Feng Youlan, a famous philosopher. Among the 130 natural scenic spots and historic interests are the famous ones including the Great Wall of the Wei Dynasty, the ancient castle complex, the Colorful Cloud Stones on the Wolong Platform, the Luohejian Valley, the Great Shuanglong Valley and the Dragon Stream Palace.
The Great Shuanglong (Double Dragons) Valley, the most charming spot in the Huancui Valley, is a beautiful world of deep pools and waterfalls mirroring each other, consisting of pools like the Hama Pool, the Wild Boar Pool, the Rose Pool and waterfalls such as the Slim Beauty Waterfall, the Sandie (triple) Waterfall and the Shuanglong Waterfall. Entering the great valley is just like entering a fairy-land with dense leaves closing over the sky, brisk springs and torrential waterfalls, gurgling rivers and singing birds. Without running water, the mountain will be dull. Without thrusting stones, the water will be boring. Here, with clean springs running leisurely or brightly, showing or hiding from time to time along the steps of tourists; with fragrant wild flowers booming with charm, tourists will inevitably indulge in the romantic landscape-painting of happiness which is made out of a perfect combination of mountains, water and stones.
The Dragon Stream Palace, a dissolved cavern situated 100 meters underground has only one season in the year——the cool autumn, even in a hot summer. Inside, spacious or narrow, with splashing waterfalls rushing downward with thousands of pearls, layers of stone curtains hanging aside one by one, clean springs winding and zigzagging, the walls of cavern as white as snow and diversiform stalactites like icy bamboo shoots or sliver columns rising upon glaciers, visitors will find themselves happily lost in a mysterious fairyland of a crystal world. Spots of interests include the Sea Palace of Dragon King, the Baota Waterfall, the Gathering of Dragon Kings, Flying to the Moon, Taibai Intoning Poet, Xianqiao Pagoda, etc.
