Mountain Shiren Scenic Zone

    Mountain Shiren Scenic Zone is located in the west part of Lushan County, near Zhengzhou City, and is named after the human-shaped stelae on the mountain.
    There are over 160 peaks that surpass 1,000m above sea level and 30 peaks above 2,000m, among which the main peak——Yuhuangding Peak (Toad Rock) is 2,153m high.
    Mountain Shiren has a variety of sights, such as the bewildering peaks and rocks, beautiful flowers, red maple leaves, the rushing falls, warm springs, tranquil lakes, sea of cloud, virgin forest, precious fauna and places of cultural interest that constitute a complete unity of scenery, and also a collection of “imposing, perilous, beautiful, rare and secluded” scenes. The major attractions are the stone Human Figurine, Grand General, Qianzhang Rock, Tongtian Stream, Jiuqu Waterfall, Monkey Worshiping Bodhisattva, ect.
