Kocatepe Mosque

Kocatepe Mosque is the newest and largest mosque in Ankara, and the second largest in Turkey. Built in 1967 and completed in 1987. Despite being a modern building it was designed on classic Ottoman style, with 4 minarets, domes and half domes.

The Mosque complex includes a car park and supermarket, and has a capacity to hold 20,000 worshippers.
