Located at the east entrance of Xinhua Street, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Museum bears the symbol of a prancing white horse at the top of its main building.
Constructed in 1957, it collects cultural relics of the Hums, the Eastern Hus, the Wuhuans, the Xianbeis, the Turks, the Khitans, the Nvzhens, the Dangxiangs, the Mongolian and other minority nationalities, and has a floor space of 4,722 square meters.
