With a floor space of 1,300 square meters, the newly built China Engraving Museum is located to the east of the Xilin Bridge.
Its name is inscribed by a very famous calligrapher, named Zhao Puchu. A 4.2 meters high seal stands in front of it. The whole building includes Historical Seal Hall, Engraving Arts Hall and Painting and Calligraphy Hall. On display, are over 600 art treasures that describe the history of Chinese engraving, including some seals dating back 2,300 years. Furthermore, the museum is situated within the scenic spot—Xiling Seal Engraver's Society where you can enjoy a beautiful gardening scenic. |
