Yangji Dhyana Buddhist Temple in the Boddhist Parish of the Orient Culture Park, first named as “Congfuyang Temple”, was built up in the second year of Jiading of the Southern Song Dynasty (1209 A.D.). With imperial writing of Songningzong in the Buddhist temple, it was very resplendent and prosperous at the time. The Buddhist temple was renamed as “Yangji Dhyana Buddhist Temple” in the Ming Dynasty. |
