Mountain Xiling Snow-capped

Mountain Xiling Snow-capped is a national scenic resort, which lies in Dayi County, Sichuan Province. The resort is about 95km away from Chengdu and covers an area of 482.8 km.

Its name originates from the famous verse “you can enjoy snowy scenery of Mountain Xiling, and there are countless boats moored at Dongwu” by Du Fu, a renowned poet. When he led a hermit's life at his Thathed Cottage, he composed the above verse.

The scenic area is typical of jokuls, forests, and torrential waterfalls. As high as 5,364 meters, Mountain Miaoji, covered with perpetual snow all the year around, reflects silvery light in the sun and penetrates clouds spectacularly. In addition, there are famous attractions such as Golden Sunshine Casting upon the Mountain, Yinyang Wonder, Fengwei Waterfall, and Wucai Waterfall.
