Jade Man-Head (Neolithic Age)

Unearthed in 1976 from the Site of Longshan Culture in Shimao, Shenmu County, Shaanxi Province. This head has some brown stains from when the jade was buried beneath the earth. It was made in the shape of a flat piece. Plainly engraved on both sides, it has a hole for tying a rope on the man's face.
