The 1000-year-old Longgang Township (which was once called Furong Township) lies in the beautiful lakeside of Gaoyou 30 km far away to the north of Tianchang County. In the town, there is a characteristics ancient residence of Ming and Qing Dynasty preserved in good condition. In Daoguang period of Qing Dynasty, there had been a number one scholar named Dai Lanfen. The old address of the university, which now becomes the historical relic of preservation of the province just scatters among the ancient residence contrasting with one another.

Huguo Temple is situated in the southern of Tianchang County, occupying an area of more than 50mu with a construction area of nearly 5,000 square meters. It has been firstly constructed in Tongzhi period of Qing Dynasty and is one of the “a thousand classical temples” in China. Now it is a main open temple of the province. Huguo Temple is a garden like temple which has a reputation of “The Miniature Mountain Jiuhua”. In the temple, there are various kinds of halls, pavilions, towers and terraces. With flagrant flowers and green grass clustering around, which, make the place a famous scenic spot for religion in the eastern Anhui Province.

Baolin Temple lies in the southern bank of Gaoyou Lake, the north of the old Wangqiao Street of Lulong town which belongs to the suburbs to the east of the downtown areas of Tianchang County. With rivers around and towering cypresses and lush plants inside, the environment of the temple is tranquil and comfortable. Baolin Temple is a royal bestowal of Tang Dynasty, which has a gigantic scale over history. Now the reconstruction consists of Daxiong Hall, Tianwang Hall, Sansheng Hall and Viewing Pavilion and so on. The reputation of the temple has been widely spread. In history, many men of letters have visited it, a temporary high-ranking monk has inscribed the name for the temple.

In this less-than-300-square meters grove in the countryside with lonely paths and scattered human habitants, there are more than 10,000 egrets, while the flock of egrets are flying together, they shade the sun like thick clouds and while they are perching on the tree branches, they just like luxuriant white flowers or heavy snow. All this forms a splendid scene and a wonderful atmosphere. So come here please!
